Radiohead's visual art showcased at Oxford's Ashmolean Museum in 2025

exhibition · 2026-04-26

The Ashmolean Museum in Oxford will host "This Is What You Get," a major exhibition of works by Thom Yorke and Stanley Donwood, from August 8, 2025 to January 11, 2026. The show features over 120 pieces spanning the 1980s to today, including iconic Radiohead album covers, sketches, notebooks, and large-scale collaborative paintings created between 2021 and 2023. Yorke and Donwood met at Exeter University studying art history and English literature. Donwood has designed Radiohead's visual identity since 1994, and their recent collaboration includes the band The Smile. The exhibition marks their first public museum show, following a 2023 preview at London's Tin Man Art gallery. Separately, Yorke is adapting Radiohead's album "Hail to the Thief" for a Shakespearean theater production titled "Hamlet Hail to the Thief," running April 27 to May 18, 2025 in Manchester and Stratford-upon-Avon.
