Radicepura Garden Festival 2025: Chaos and Order in Mediterranean Gardens
The fifth Radicepura Garden Festival, focusing on Mediterranean gardens, is currently taking place at Mount Etna in Giarre, Sicily. The theme, 'Chaos (and) Order in the Garden,' is curated by artistic director Antonio Perazzi. A group of ten landscape architects, all under the age of 36, has designed innovative gardens. Among the standout installations are: 'Intricate Dance of Armonic Contrast' by Koni Chan and Rose Tan from Hong Kong; 'Echoes' by Claudio Bussei; 'Ignivomus Hortus' by Guðmundur Björnsson from Iceland; and 'Living Fence' by Asmita Raghuvanshy, Parth Patankar, and Amol Nimkar. Other notable works include 'The Rumbctious Garden' by Parita Jani and Urvish Bhatt, 'The Garden of the Mazari Palm' by Nicholas Roth from the USA, and 'Giardino di Terra' by Vincent Dumai and Baptiste Wullschleger. The festival, which features a piece titled 'A postcard from Sicily' by godmother Sarah Eberle, will continue until November 2025.
