Radar: New Contemporary Art Gallery Opens in Milan's Porta Venezia District

exhibition · 2026-04-26

A new contemporary art gallery called radar will open in Milan on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, at Via Plinio 11 in the Porta Venezia district. The gallery is founded by Stefano De Gregori, Anna Polesello, and Edoardo Pontecorvi, each of whom has extensive experience working at major international galleries. The founders describe radar as a space designed to host exhibitions they themselves would want to visit and collect, with a compact volume suitable for precisely conceived projects. The gallery focuses on contemporary research without regard to age or geographic criteria. Its 2025-26 season will primarily feature solo shows conceived as combinable pocket dictionaries. The inaugural exhibition is a solo show titled "Through skin and bones" by French artist Clovis Bataille (born 1995 in Paris), running until November 22, 2025. Bataille's work, which includes sculptures, photographs, and installations, has been presented in group exhibitions at Lafayette Anticipations, ExoExo, Fitzpatrick Gallery, 3537, and London Science Museum Late, as well as solo shows at Petrine in Paris and Pole Gallery in Paris and London. His practice explores processes of cohabitation, alienation, discipline, and disorder.
