Rada Georgieva Named Inaugural Il Posto–Afterall Editorial and Research Fellow

Rada Georgieva has been appointed as the first Il Posto–Afterall Editorial and Research Fellow, a position running from July 2025 to July 2026. She will be based at the Afterall Research Centre, Central Saint Martins. Georgieva is a PhD candidate at The Courtauld Institute of Art, where her research examines mail art and samizdat networks linking the Eastern Bloc and Latin America from 1970 to 1995. Her work specifically focuses on Bulgaria, the USSR, Chile, Uruguay, and Argentina, analyzing experimental publications and dissident visual practices to critique center–periphery dynamics and uncover transnational cultural resistance during the Cold War.
