Rachel Khong's 'Real Americans' Book Tour in Germany

Rachel Khong, author of the bestseller 'Real Americans', is embarking on a reading tour across Germany in May through July 2025. The novel, a success in the US and Germany, follows Lily Chen, a Chinese immigrant's daughter, and her son Nick as they uncover family secrets. Khong's work has appeared in The New York Times Book Review, The Guardian, The Cut, and The Paris Review. In 2018, she founded The Ruby in San Francisco, a workspace for women and non-binary artists. The tour is supported by publisher Kiepenheuer & Witsch and the 'Deutschland liest ein Buch' campaign.
