Rabih Mroué's first UK solo exhibition at Iniva features talk and new performance

Rabih Mroué, a multifaceted Lebanese artist, is launching his first solo exhibition in the UK called 'I, the Undersigned' at Iniva on Rivington Place in London. This event features fresh installations alongside some of his notable recent works and includes a live performance. Mroué's art reflects the ongoing turmoil in Lebanon and the broader Middle East, focusing on themes like historical narrative, exclusion, and memory. On March 23, 2011, he participated in a discussion about his creations with curator Cosmin Costinaş, which was later followed by another performance. This event was organized in collaboration with Afterall, where Mroué's work is featured in journal 25, including contributions from Juan A. Gaitán and Kaelen Wilson-Goldie.
