RAAA Festival of Performing Arts Concludes in Brescia
The inaugural RAAA, a performing arts festival hosted by APS Lampedée under the BAO – Brescia Arts Observatory initiative, was held in Brescia until November 13, 2022. Directed by Fabrizio Saiu and Gabriele Mitelli, the festival centered on sound. Notable presentations featured Alessandro Bosetti's investigation of sound and language, Leandro Pisano's studies on soundscapes, Salvo Lombardo's interactive choreography, and the emotional interfaces created by Roberto Crippa and Elisabetta Porcinai. Additionally, Luca Pagan delivered a lecture on the interplay of body, sound, and technology. Key institutional collaborators included the Municipality of Brescia and Brescia Musei. Saiu characterized RAAA as a means to promote dialogue between culture and counter-culture, with aspirations to broaden its reach into public spaces and engage more partners.
