Rä di Martino Wins Acacia Prize, Opens Shows in Rome and London

Rä di Martino, born in Rome in 1975, was awarded the Acacia Prize in Milan in 2018 for her video 'Copies récentes du paysages ancienne/ Petite histoire des plateaux abandonnés' (2012) and her photographic piece 'The Sun or an Electric Light #7' (2017), which is now included in the ACACIA collection at Museo del Novecento until June 10. On April 18, she will launch a solo exhibition at Galleria Valentina Bonomo, showcasing works from 'Play House' (2018) and 'Open Trees' (2014-2018), as well as the two-channel video installation 'Untitled (Piper)' (2018). Di Martino showcased her feature film 'CONTROFIGURA' at the Venice Film Festival in 2017 and is working on future projects, including a documentary about Rome and a film by Paolo Luca Barbieri set in India.
