R-Evolution Exhibition at Istituto degli Innocenti in Florence
The R-Evolution exhibition at the Istituto degli Innocenti in Florence showcases 24 finalist works from the 2019 EneganArt National Competition of Current Art. Over 1,600 works were submitted for this edition, themed "R-Evolution," interpreted as both radical change in social, technological, and environmental structures and adaptive evolution. The competition, established in 2010 by Enegan Spa, aims to promote international artistic production. First prize was awarded to Margarita Egorova for "Big Eye," followed by Edoardo Nardin (second) and Gianni Lucchesi (third). A scholarship was given to Nicola Bindoni for "Blu Sky," and the Save The Planet Special Prize went to Elisabetta Canevarolo for "PLASTICA: rivoluzione del XX secolo." The jury included Giammarco Piacenti, Patrizia Cammeo, Luca Bracali, and Elena Stoppioni. Curator Ileana Mayol noted the project's growth and significance in Italy. The exhibition runs until October 20 at the Salone Borghini. Winning works will join the EneganArt Collection.
