Quincy Houghton to Lead Exhibitions at The Met

Quincy Houghton will join The Metropolitan Museum of Art this summer as the new associate director for exhibitions, taking over from Jennifer Russell, who is set to retire in spring 2024. Houghton has more than ten years of experience at the J. Paul Getty Museum, where she played a pivotal role in curating notable exhibitions such as "Robert Mapplethorpe: The Perfect Medium," "Power and Pathos: Bronze Sculpture from the Hellenistic World," and "Drawings by Rembrandt and His Pupils." The appointment was announced by Thomas P. Campbell, director and CEO of the Met.
