Question Mark opens permanent spaces in Milan and Liguria

Question Mark, a nomadic gallery project founded by Daniele Decia, is establishing two permanent exhibition spaces: one in Milan and one in Finalborgo, Liguria. The Milan location opens December 21 with a double solo show by Lio and Danilo Sergiampietri, while the Finalborgo space opens December 17 with Viceversa, a double solo show by Gianmaria Giannetti and Sergio Olivotti. Decia, who runs the gallery with his partner Stefania Sarri (daughter of artist Sergio Sarri), stated that a fixed venue became essential for continuity, though the 'diffuse' concept remains integral. The Milan gallery, at via Briosi in the Città Studi district, occupies a 60 sqm former shop on two levels with two facing 4-meter walls. It will focus on younger graffiti and urban art, but also feature established names. The Finalborgo space, called Question Mark Lab, is a 50 sqm warehouse with arches that will host exhibitions and workshops in illustration, creative writing, and calligraphy. Decia noted that Finalborgo's year-round tourism makes it ideal for a permanent venue. Future programming will include graffiti artists, countercultures, and the history of the Scuola di Calice, active from the 1960s to mid-1980s.
