Queen launches 'Bohemian Rhapsody' VR app on Android
Queen has released 'The Bohemian Rhapsody Experience,' a virtual reality app on Google Play Store, initially for Android with iOS support coming soon. Developed in collaboration with Google and Enosis Vr, the app allows users to enter the subconscious of Freddie Mercury through an immersive, dreamlike world. The experience evokes the song's six-minute suite structure, which includes rock sections and an operatic passage, written by Mercury in 1975. Users can explore imaginary worlds of holograms and cartoons. Brian May, Queen's guitarist and a VR enthusiast who previously designed his own Victorian stereoscope-inspired headset, stated that despite being over forty years old, 'Bohemian Rhapsody' remains an innovative song born from Freddie's incredible imagination.
