Quayola's 'Ultima perfezione' Exhibition at Palazzo Santa Margherita, Modena
From September 18, 2020, to January 10, 2021, Fondazione Modena Arti Visive will host a solo exhibition for Quayola (born 1982), entitled 'Ultima perfezione'. Curated by Daniele De Luigi, the show will take place at Palazzo Santa Margherita and will display both historical and contemporary works developed in collaboration with Marignana Arte gallery, linked to the foundation's involvement in the 2019 Premio Level 0 at ArtVerona. The exhibition delves into the theme of perfection in Western art, featuring classical, modern, and Baroque masterpieces. Quayola utilizes software to dissect concepts of beauty and harmony, showcasing pieces such as 'Pluto and Proserpina', inspired by Bernini, and prints from the 'Iconographies' series, including 'Adoration of Botticelli' and new engravings on Judith and Holofernes.
