Quadriennale di Roma opens call for new artistic director
The Fondazione La Quadriennale di Roma has issued a call for candidates for the position of artistic director for the term from 2021 to 2024. This organization, co-owned by MiBACT, the Lazio Region, and Roma Capitale, manages the Quadriennale d'arte exhibition. Sarah Cosulich, the outgoing director, completed her term on December 31, 2020. The incoming director will not be responsible for curating the upcoming exhibition scheduled for autumn-winter 2025 but will concentrate on programming at the ex Arsenale Clementino Pontificio, the foundation's new location starting in 2023. The initiative aims to establish a center for emerging artists. Candidates are required to propose a plan to promote the Arsenal with budgets of €100,000 for 2021 and €200,000 for 2022. Applications must be submitted by June 18, 2021, with Umberto Croppi serving as the board chair.
