PwC and Anthropic Partner to Deploy Claude AI Across Enterprise Functions

PwC is enhancing its strategic partnership with Anthropic to implement Claude AI throughout its global workforce, aiming to revolutionize enterprise operations. The initiative will introduce Claude Code and Cowork, initially focusing on U.S. teams, with plans to impact hundreds of thousands of employees. A collaborative Center of Excellence will train and certify 30,000 PwC staff on Claude. The partnership emphasizes three key areas: developing agentic technology, AI-driven deal-making, and reinventing enterprise functions. Additionally, PwC is establishing a new Office of the CFO business unit utilizing Claude for regulated sectors. Claude is already operational in professional sports, insurance underwriting (reducing cycles from 10 weeks to 10 days), mainframe modernization, HR transformation, and cybersecurity (cutting incident response times from hours to minutes). Client Advocate Health intends to integrate Claude within its 167,000-strong workforce. PwC's internal AI assistant, ChatPwC, utilizes Claude, and three AI incubation pods are currently functioning in Finance, Supply Chain, and Deal Making. This collaboration is part of Anthropic's $100 million investment in the Claude Partner Network.
