Puy du Fou admits animal burials, fires three employees

Puy du Fou, a theme park in Toledo, Spain, has fired three managers from its animal department after an internal investigation confirmed that animals were buried on the premises. The investigation was launched following a report by elDiario.es, which cited former employees alleging a cemetery of animals within the park. The three individuals had been suspended during the probe. In a statement, Puy du Fou acknowledged that in certain cases, animal burials occurred inside the enclosure, leading to the termination of their employment. Ecologistas en Acción has announced it will file a complaint against Puy du Fou and demands the park's closure until its sanitary conditions are guaranteed.
