Prospettica: Walliance's New Magazine on Habitable Futures
Prospettica, a new magazine launched in June 2023 by Italian investment firm Walliance, explores urban utopias and dystopias through expert dialogues, interviews, reportage, and fiction. The first issue, titled "La Linea," focuses on the NEOM project and The Line, a 170-km-long, 200-meter-wide cognitive city in the Saudi Arabian desert. The magazine is edited by Zeno Toppan (director of Quanto Magazine) and Nicola Feninno (co-founder of CTRL), with graphic design by Paper Paper Studio. It is distributed in independent bookstores across Italy, including Gucci Garden in Florence, Hoepli in Milan, and Libreria Bodoni in Turin, and is also available via the Frab's platform. Future plans include expansion into France and Spain. The second issue, "L'Arca" (December 2023), examines utopian solutions to rising sea levels, from Noah's Ark to Dogen City in Japan.
