Prospect New Orleans Triennial Appoints Six-Member Curatorial Advisory Group for 2024 Edition
The sixth edition of Prospect, New Orleans's contemporary art triennial, will kick off on November 2, 2024, and wrap up on February 2, 2025. Miranda Lash and Ebony G. Patterson, who took on the role of Co-Artistic Directors in August 2022, will work with a newly formed advisory group made up of six international curators. This group includes New Orleans artist and professor Ron Bechet, Thai-Vietnamese curator Zoe Butt, Denver Art Museum's Raphael Fonseca, Johannesburg's Tumelo Mosaka now based in New York, Krista Thompson from Northwestern University, and multimedia artist Dyani White Hawk, who participated in the 2022 Whitney Biennial. The last triennial, Prospect 5, occurred in 2021 with the theme "Yesterday we said tomorrow."
