Prosa contemporanea opens in Rome's Pigneto with Laura Federici show

A new exhibition space called Prosa contemporanea has opened in Rome's Pigneto district, at Via Marin Sanudo 24, in a former pastry shop. The space was created by the architecture firm Prosa StudioLab, founded by architects Amelia Roccatelli, Valeria Palermo, and Stefano Salvi. The inaugural exhibition, 'Limiti Visibili' by artist Laura Federici, runs from September 18 to October 25, 2025, curated by Alberto Dambruoso, who also serves as the artistic director of the new venue. The show features eight large silk and cotton canvases with inks, pigments, and acrylics, inspired by Federici's recent trip to Varanasi, India, focusing on an uninhabited bank of the Ganges River. The space combines a studio, coworking area, and exhibition rooms. Future exhibitions will include artists Antonio Tropiano and Sandro Bracchitta. The venue aims to blend design and art, with Prosa StudioLab curating some shows.
