Props: New Independent Shop and Print Lab Opens in Rome's San Lorenzo

In November 2025, Props opened at Via dei Volsci 133 in Rome's San Lorenzo district, a neighborhood revitalized by galleries and artist studios. Founded by freelance graphic designer Davide Mascioli and consultant Giada Giorgiantoni, the independent shop sells books, posters, vinyl records, clothing, and collectibles selected personally by the founders, bypassing suppliers. The space also houses a workshop for 3D printing, screen printing, and linoleography, separate from the retail area, aimed at collaborating with Italian publishers like Oreri of Cagliari and international artists to produce objects, T-shirts, and logos. The founders chose San Lorenzo over Pigneto for its location opposite the Ex Vetrerie Sciarra, a La Sapienza University campus, ensuring steady student foot traffic.
