Propagazioni Magazine: Art, Pedagogy, and Anthropology in the Field
Since its inception in 2018, the independent group Propagazioni has been dedicated to documenting the work of artists, anthropologists, educators, and social workers through its magazine, 'Propagazioni. Bollettino di esperienze di campo,' which was launched in 2021. Founded by Pietro Bonfanti, Valeria Codara, Fausto Giliberti, Davide Manzoni, and Doriana Offredi, this publication acts as a research platform that connects the arts with social sciences. It includes a black-and-white section featuring essays and visuals on topics such as borders and identity, alongside a color section showcasing a visual project. The third issue was unveiled at the Baleno Festival in 2025, featuring artists Francesca Pelliccioli and Vernonika Bauer. An Open studio #3 event is scheduled for November 29-30, 2025, in Valle Imagna.
