Project Ulsoor Office by The Purple Ink Studio in Bangalore

The Purple Ink Studio, led by principals Aditi Pai and Akshay Heranjal, has completed Project Ulsoor, an office design in Bangalore, India, in 2025. The project spans 1450 ft² and was curated by Miwa Negoro. The design team includes Rajvi Shah, Anareen Reynolds, Fiza Elat, Aravind Vankadaru, and Jaival Kansara. Photographs were taken by Hansöga. The architects describe Bangalore as a city of layered identities, with a climate and slow rhythm that add a humane quality to inhabiting spaces. They critique the influx of faceless, sterile glass buildings that mirror the anonymity of their structures. Project Ulsoor responds to this context by offering an alternative office environment.
