ProGrade Digital Unveils Dual-Slot USB 4.0 Card Readers with CFexpress 4.0 Support

ProGrade Digital has unveiled two new dual-slot card readers: the PG05.7 designed for CFexpress Type B and the PG09.7 for Type A, both equipped with an SD slot that supports SDXC UHS-II. These devices utilize a USB 4.0 interface, offering a maximum bandwidth of 40 Gbit/s, which is twice the speed of USB 3.2, and they are compatible with CFexpress 4.0 cards and USB 4.0 computers. Each model features built-in heatsinks, an active cooling fan, and a magnetic base for easy attachment. Included with the readers are a certified USB 4.0 cable and Refresh Pro software for monitoring card health. CEO Wes Brewer highlighted the collaboration with technology partners. The readers are set to launch in late May 2026 at a price of $149.99 each.
