Proforma art training course concludes in Molise with Mibact and SIAE support

The Proforma training course for young artists, organized by Galleria Gino Marotta – L’Aratro at the University of Molise and EURelations GEIE, is ending. It was funded by the S'Illumina call from SIAE and Mibact. The course comprised two modules: one focused on artistic training guided by established artists, and the other on art market dynamics and professional promotion. It lasted 240 hours and will culminate in a group exhibition in January, where participants will present works created under faculty supervision. Lorenzo Canova, director of L’Aratro, praised the initiative as proof that quality art education can thrive in peripheral areas. Faculty included painters Stefania Fabrizi and Federico Lombardo, Artribune editor Santa Nastro, art historian Christian Caliandro, artist Piero Mottola, political philosophy professor Flavia Monceri, sociology professor Ivo Stefano Germano, MAAM director Giorgio De Finis, Arthemisia Contemporary head Nicolas Ballario, artist Giovanni Albanese, photographer Cosimo Paiano, and law professor Pietro Santo Leopoldo Falletta. Curator Piernicola Maria Di Iorio noted that ten residents of Molise participated, gaining insights into art world complexities from leading professionals. The final exhibition will foster dialogue among artists, teachers, and students, and establish a foundation for promoting graduates in the art market.
