The Swiss Federal Office of Culture has revealed that the 2025 Swiss Grand Award for Art, also known as the Prix Meret Oppenheim, will honor three individuals: artist Pamela Rosenkranz, metal casting specialist Felix Lehner, and architect Miroslav Šik. Each recipient will receive CHF 40,000. Rosenkranz, born in Altdorf in 1979 and now living in Zurich, explores themes of anthropocentrism through her work in sculpture, video, installation, and painting. She represented Switzerland at the 2015 Venice Biennale. Felix Lehner, born in 1960 in St. Gallen, founded the Kunstgiesserei St. Gallen and has worked with many international artists. Miroslav Šik, a Swiss architect born in Prague in 1953, is known for projects like the Catholic Centre St. Antonius in Egg. The award ceremony will take place in Basel on June 16 during the Swiss Art Awards.
