Private House in La Claye by atelier iso architectes

architecture-design · 2026-08-19

In 2023, atelier iso architectes completed a private house in La Claye, a village in La Bretonnière-la-Claye, France. The 79 m² residence occupies a 300 m² corner plot that had long remained empty, leaving a gap in the town's urban fabric. Historically tied to a neighboring property, the site once held an orchard and a chicken coop. Surrounded by traditional stone walls, the design harmonizes with the local built landscape of lateral facades and stone masonry. A compact, site-specific insertion. Photographs by Charles Bouchaïb; curated by Nina Vuga.
