Print market surges: London Original Print Fair turns 40 as auction sales jump 107%

According to the Art Basel and UBS Survey of Global Collecting 2024, the prints and multiples market has seen remarkable growth in the last three years, with high-net-worth individuals increasing their print transactions by 35% in 2023 and the first half of 2024. MyArtBroker noted a staggering 107% increase in print auction activity for 2023. The London Original Print Fair (LOPF) will mark its 40th anniversary from March 20, 2025, at Somerset House, showcasing over 40 exhibitors. Featured artists include Tracey Emin, Rashid Johnson, and renowned modern artists such as Picasso and Matisse. Following LOPF, the Paris Print Fair will take place from March 27–30, accompanied by auctions from Christie's, Sotheby's, and Phillips.
