Princeton's Media + Modernity Program Celebrates 25 Years with Reflective Exhibition
Celebrating the 25th anniversary of Princeton University's Program of Media + Modernity, an exhibition showcases a silver fabric curtain adorned with seminar posters. Curated by Beatriz Colomina, Foivos Geralis, and Antonio Cantero, the display reflects the program's journey since its inception in 2000. The installation, designed by Agency–Agency, creates a cozy atmosphere with a semi-transparent curtain that features decades of posters. Tei Carpenter, the founder, likened it to a black-box environment. Visitors can engage with seminar content on screens and explore printed pillows with texts. A binder containing founding documents greets attendees at the entrance. Coordinated by philosopher Paul B Preciado, the program investigates the intersections of architecture and media. The exhibition is open from March 3 to May 1, 2026.
