The Mandarin Oriental Al Faisaliah, Riyadh, the group's first property in Saudi Arabia, has unveiled a bespoke fan commissioned from Her Royal Highness Princess Nourah Al Faisal. The fan, inspired by the Kingdom's heritage and future, features 13 embroidered beige fabric panels representing Saudi Arabia's regions, quartz for 'desert diamonds,' and green anodised titanium ribs. Princess Nourah, founder of Nuun Jewels and Adhlal consultancy, also relaunched Adhlal at the 2022 Saudi Design Festival. The hotel's redesign by Tihany Design incorporates Saudi visual language with Asian undertones.
