Prime Video Announces 2026 Slate with Major International Productions

Prime Video has unveiled its 2026 programming slate during its first international showcase in London, featuring high-profile adaptations and star-studded casts. Among the most anticipated titles is "La casa degli spiriti," a Chilean adaptation of Isabel Allende's novel, produced by Eva Longoria and directed by Dolores Fonzi, with a substantial budget reflected in its production design. Nicole Wallace stars in the series and also leads "Postcards from Italy," a US production shot in Palermo and directed by Jessica Wu, marking Wallace's English-language debut as a spoiled heiress entangled in a love triangle with characters played by Sebastiano Pigazzi and Filippo De Carli. Stanley Tucci announced "Masterplan," the platform's first Italian-French co-production, directed by Thomas Vincent, about a famed thief attempting to steal the Mona Lisa, involving two young con artists played by Simona Tabasco and Victor Belmondo, with locations spanning Lake Como and Paris. Additionally, "Scarpetta" adapts Patricia Cornwell's best-selling crime novels, with Nicole Kidman as forensic pathologist Kay Scarpetta and Jamie Lee Curtis as her sister Dorothy Farinelli, alternating between the 1990s and the present. These projects underscore Prime Video's strategy to invest in strong narratives and international appeal, positioning 2026 as a competitive year in streaming.
