Prima Diffusa returns to Milan with live screenings of Verdi's Macbeth

After a year away, the tenth edition of Prima Diffusa is set to return to Milan. On December 7, a live broadcast of Giuseppe Verdi's Macbeth will be available on 34 screens, accommodating 10,000 attendees. Conducted by Riccardo Chailly and directed by Davide Livermore, this 200-minute opera will be shown at multiple locations, including three prisons. Reservations are necessary for free screenings, which will also provide listening guides. Over the past decade, Prima Diffusa has attracted more than 200,000 viewers. Kicking off on December 1 with "Al Castello di Macbeth," this edition features 80 events across 40 cultural venues. Culture councilor Tommaso Sacchi emphasized its importance for cultural engagement and social inclusion.
