Precious Okoyomon's Garden Installation at MoMA PS1
Artist and poet Precious Okoyomon has created an elaborate garden installation in the courtyard of MoMA PS1 in Long Island City, Queens, which will remain for two years. The work features a giant teddy bear that visitors can enter through its anus and exit through its mouth, referencing Leo Bersani's 1987 essay "Is the Rectum a Grave?" Okoyomon described the rectum as "just a portal" during a press event on a drizzly Wednesday.
