From June 14 to September 30, 2003, the Donjon de Vez in Oise, France, is showcasing the summer sculpture exhibition titled 'Pour l'amour de Vénus,' curated by Jessy Mansuy. Notable works include Jim Dine's 'Black Venus,' a ceramic by Johannes Creten, and Yayoi Kusama's reinterpretation of the Venus de Milo. Visitors will encounter five full-scale replicas of the Venus de Milo created by artists Ben, Stéphane Pencréac'h, Vincent Corpet, Bernard Rancillac, and Fabrice Hybert. The exhibition also features pieces by Arman, Salvador Dalí, and Auguste Rodin. Francis Briest has been organizing exhibitions at Vez since 1993-1994, with a decade celebration set for next year.
