Poster art exhibition at Fondazione Bevilacqua La Masa in Venice

Fondazione Bevilacqua La Masa in Venice is hosting 'Formes de l’affiche', an exhibition dedicated to poster art, curated by Eric Aubert and Giorgio Camuffo. The show features posters from the International Festival of Posters and Graphic Design in Chaumont, France, which has been held annually since 1990. Chaumont's Centre international du Graphisme is a hub for contemporary graphic design, and the city has a century-old connection to poster art, bolstered by Gustave Dutailly's 1905 donation of some 5,000 posters by artists such as Toulouse-Lautrec, Bonnard, and Jules Chéret. The exhibition includes works by contemporary designers like Abäke, Bizzarri & Rodriguez, and Jan en Randoald, highlighting the fertile intersection of graphic design, drawing, and painting. The show runs until September 4, 2016, at Palazzetto Tito.
