Posizioni: Torino's First Erotic Art Festival Debuts During Art Week

The inaugural edition of 'Posizioni. I modi di ********', a festival dedicated to erotic art, will take place in Turin from October 29 to November 3, 2024, coinciding with the city's Art Week. Organized by Soluzioni Festival, the event features works by ten artists exploring themes of sexuality, desire, and the body through photography, illustration, and multimedia. Exhibitors include photographer Rebecca Dorothy, whose works examine female perception through an intimate and bold visual language; Marina Zaia, focusing on queer aesthetics and sex-positive themes; graphic artist Thomas Ray, known for provocation and transgression; the collective BadSeedZine (Luca Marrazzo, Alessandra Pace, Marcel Swann); and radical design studio SenzaFuturo. The exhibition is housed in a former industrial workshop at Corso Palermo 55. Accompanying the show are talks and discussions, including a conversation on sexuality in the age of parenthood by Malvina Rossetti and Matteo Baldin, and a session on bondage and ligatures by Frida Affer and Alithia Maltese. Each evening concludes with an aperitif and DJ set by local collectives. The event is restricted to adult audiences only.
