Portal Art Fair's Second Edition Relocates to SoHo with Disjointed Presentation

The Portal Art Fair's second edition kicked off with a reception on Wednesday, May 3, from 6-9pm at 435 Broome Street in SoHo, nestled between Broadway and Crosby. After the opening event, the fair was open to the public from Thursday, May 4, until Monday, May 8, with daily hours from 11am to 6pm. Entry was complimentary for all attendees. A sudden shift from Federal Hall to a compact ground-floor space in SoHo resulted in a presentation that seemed hurried and lacked unity. This last-minute move was cited as a factor contributing to the fair's fragmented appearance.
