Porta Venezia district renaissance in Milan
In Milan's Porta Venezia district, a cultural renaissance is underway, spearheaded by the Fondazione Luigi Rovati initiative. The first Johan & Levi bookstore, along with exhibition areas and an underground museum featuring Etruscan and contemporary art, is situated in a renovated 19th-century palace at 52 Corso Venezia. Additionally, a garden with a bistro and a panoramic restaurant designed by Andrea Aprea enhances the space. This summer, the Galleria d'Arte Moderna (GAM) presented Pellizza da Volpedo's 'Il Quarto Stato.' By 2026, the MAD museum will debut at the former Albergo Diurno, while Palazzo Dugnani will transform into the Museo della Moda. A new smart library, BiblioExpress, has also been established at the Porta Venezia metro station, and Casa Cipriani has launched its first Italian location in Palazzo Bernasconi.
