Porsche Unveils 911 Turbo S Sadu Edition with Handwoven Bedouin Textiles for Kuwait
Porsche has introduced the 911 Turbo S Sadu Edition, a highly limited model with only 20 units available, commemorating 70 years of the brand in Kuwait. This edition features handwoven Bedouin textiles inside, marking a first for Porsche. The inaugural Porsche in the Middle East was a 356 Cabriolet, imported to Kuwait by Morad Behbehani in 1956, leading to the establishment of Behbehani Motor Company as the region's first Porsche dealership. Crafted by Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur, the Sadu Edition showcases a Cremewhite exterior with a Sport Design package, gloss black details, and two-tone Sport Classic wheels. Inside, the cabin is adorned with black and Bordeaux Red leather, woven Sadu pattern seat inserts, and illuminated door sill guards. Mechanically, it mirrors the 911 Turbo S, featuring a hybrid powertrain with a 3.6-liter twin-turbo flat-six and electric motor, delivering 701 hp and 590 lb-ft of torque, achieving 0-60 mph in 2.4 seconds and a top speed of 200 mph. All 20 units are exclusive to Kuwait, with pricing anticipated to surpass the $270,300 of the 911 Turbo S.
