other · 2026-04-24

Porsche has revealed the Cayenne Coupé Electric at Auto China 2026 in Beijing, an EV version of its SUV coupé first introduced in 2019. The design features a roofline said to be 'derived from the 911', though it more closely resembles a lifted Taycan. The aerodynamic cd value of 0.23 improves range by up to 11 miles over the standard SUV, reaching up to 415 miles. Three models are offered: base (408 PS, 0-62 mph in 4.8 seconds), Cayenne S (544 PS, 0-62 in 3.8 seconds), and Turbo (up to 1,156 PS overboost, 0-62 in 2.5 seconds). Standard features include a liquid crystal panoramic glass roof and Porsche Sport Chrono Package. An optional Lightweight Sport package saves up to 17.6 kg. Thomas Stopka, Porsche Head of Exterior Design, described the coupé as 'extroverted and clearly positioned' with 'precisely drawn lines'. Pricing starts at £86,200 for the base model, £103,100 for the S, and £133,300 for the Turbo.
