Popsophia 2025 in Pesaro Explores 'La soglia' with Philosophy, Music, and Art

The Popsophia festival returns to Pesaro from July 24 to 27, 2025, under the theme 'La soglia' (The Threshold), curated by artistic director Lucrezia Ercoli. Following the 2023 edition 'Amati mostri', the festival expands to new venues including Centro Arti Visive Pescheria and the courtyard of Palazzo Gradari, in addition to Piazza del Popolo. The program is divided into four thematic days: the boundary between analog and digital reality (opening day at Pescheria with interventions by Maria Letizia Paiato, Federico Pazzagli, Evio Hermas Ercoli, and Davide Susanetti, plus a performance by Q-live and visual works by Marco Di Battista); the boundary between natural creativity and artificial intelligence (guided tour of an immersive exhibition by MeGa with VR headsets at Palazzo Gradari); the adolescent body as a threshold (July 26, discussing the series 'Adolescence'); and the ultimate threshold between life and death (closing day with a philoshow dedicated to Bruce Springsteen featuring Carlo Massarini). Mayor Andrea Biancani praised the festival for attracting a wide audience and enriching the cultural summer of the Marche region.
