Pop-App Museum Opens in Turin Dedicated to Animated Books
The Pop-App Museum is set to debut on December 11, 2025, at Palazzo Barolo in Turin, becoming part of the MUSLI – Museum of Childhood Books and School. This innovative museum will celebrate animated literature and technology. Its first exhibition, honoring Lothar Meggendorfer on the centenary of his passing, will run until June 28, 2026. Established in 2017 by Fondazione Tancredi di Barolo, the museum boasts over 1,500 historical items across six galleries, making it the largest collection of its kind in Italy. Plans for further development by 2027 include educational programs and the Luisella Terzi Prize for new talents.
