Pompeii Opens for Night Visits Starting September 2024
Beginning on September 7, 2024, the Archaeological Park of Pompeii will host evening excursions from 7:30 PM until 11:30 PM, which will include theatrical shows, historical reenactments, and activities for families. Visitors can traverse the ancient city and tour sites such as Villa Arianna, Villa San Marco, the Libero D'Orsi Archaeological Museum, Villa di Poppea, Antiquarium, and Villa Regina. On September 14 and 21, guests can visit the eastern houses, Palestra Grande, and Villa dei Misteri. The exhibition 'L'altra Pompei. Vite comuni all'ombra del Vesuvio' will be held at Palestra Grande. Additionally, the Archaeological Museum of Stabia will open on September 13, showcasing new exhibits. The Ludi Pompeiani reenactment is scheduled for September 28 and 29, featuring a military camp and procession.
