PoMo Museum Opens in Trondheim, Norway in February 2025

On February 15, 2025, Trondheim, Norway, will welcome PoMo, a newly established museum dedicated to modern and contemporary art. This museum, created by collectors Monica and Ole Robert Reitan, will display their private collection within a historic Art Nouveau post office, designed by Karl Norum and completed in 1911. Spanning five floors, the building underwent renovations by architects India Mahdavi and Erik Langdalen. Under the direction of Marit Album Kvernmo, PoMo plans to present two exhibitions annually, emphasizing works by female artists. The opening exhibition, titled "Postcards from the Future," will feature approximately 100 pieces from 24 artists, including notable figures like Andy Warhol and Louise Bourgeois, and will be on view until June 2025.
