Pomilio Blumm Prize: TV Contest for Contemporary Art on Sky Arte HD
Sky Arte HD and communication firm Pomilio Blumm have launched the Pomilio Blumm Prize, a television contest for contemporary art airing from May 2, 2016. The four-episode series follows six artists from Istanbul, Vienna, Lisbon, Milan, and Marseille as they compete for a €10,000 prize. Each episode features two artists presenting their work to a jury chaired by Michelangelo Pistoletto, alongside journalist Alessandra Mammì and Mart director Gianfranco Maraniello. Curators Lorenzo Balbi and Fabiola Naldi guide the selection process. The final episode on May 23 will crown the winner.
