Poltronova presents Superonda reissues at Triennale Gardens during Milan Design Week

architecture-design · 2026-05-04

During Milan Design Week, Poltronova is presenting six reissues of the Superonda Special seating at the Giardini della Triennale. Originally designed by Archizoom Associati in 1968, these reissues are limited to eleven pieces each. Roberta Meloni, the president of Poltronova, mentioned that the event will occur on the lawn, which was initially located at Villa Strozzi in Florence. The reissues feature signatures from Dario Bartolini, Andrea Branzi, Gilberto Corretti, Cristina Morozzi, and Paolo Deganello. Additionally, Olivari is restoring twenty lighting fixtures designed by Gio Ponti in 1963 for the Church of San Francesco al Fopponino. La DoubleJ is collaborating with Salviati to reissue six goblets from the 19th century, while Tacchini Edizioni is bringing back the PI-DU model by Alvino Bagni.
