Polline Project: Artists Immerse in Nature in Valle d'Intelvi

exhibition · 2026-04-27

The third installment of Polline, part of the Sentieri d'Arte initiative overseen by Fulvio Chimento and Carlotta Minarelli, takes place in Valle d'Intelvi and surrounding areas along the Lake Como-Canton Ticino frontier. This project employs pollination as a symbol for disseminating knowledge. Artists Simone Berti, Caretto/Spagna (comprising Andrea Caretto and Raffaella Spagna), and Jonathan Vivacqua produce site-specific installations along a circular route originating from Monte Generoso. Berti intertwines beech branches through anastomosis, Caretto/Spagna transforms local stones into sculptures, and Vivacqua presents works titled Scarabocchio, Metamorfosi, and Tesoro. The initiative also collaborates with local artisans and highlights the importance of nature, featuring beech forests and laburnum groves.
