Polaroid launches Keith Haring-inspired camera and film
Polaroid has released a new camera and film edition inspired by Keith Haring, the iconic American artist known for his bold, graphic style. The Polaroid Now camera features a red body with black-and-white Haring motifs, while the Polaroid i-Type film prints Haring's drawings on the white border. The collaboration was developed with the Keith Haring Foundation. Gil Vazquez, interim director of the Keith Haring Studio, noted that both Haring and Polaroid share values of promoting creativity for all. Marta Martinez, Polaroid's CMO, called the partnership a natural fit. Haring, who died in 1990, was a key figure in 1980s New York counterculture, and his work has previously inspired products from Adobe and Dr. Martens.
