Poetic Audioguides Launch at Rome's Palazzo Altemps and Palazzo Massimo
Since August 29, 2020, guests at Palazzo Altemps and Palazzo Massimo in Rome have been able to enjoy innovative poetic audioguides, part of the "Rovine" multimedia initiative created by poet and writer Gabriele Tinti. This project seeks to intertwine poetry with museum masterpieces. Accessible through QR codes on ruins.cloud, the audioguides feature Tinti's verses voiced by actors including Marton Csokas, Alessandro Haber, and Kevin Spacey, who notably performs a live reading for the "Boxer at Rest." A preview took place in June 2020, where director Abel Ferrara recited Tinti's work in front of the Dying Gaul statue. "Rovine" has been showcased in prestigious museums worldwide, supported by Museo Nazionale Romano and Fondazione Cultura e Arte, among others.
