Online, eight poems by Michael Heller, inspired by Jane Joseph's etchings created between 1986 and 2002, have been made available. These poems are part of Heller's 2010 anthology, Beckmann Variations & Other Poems. Jane Joseph, a native of Surrey, England, studied at Camberwell School of Arts & Crafts from 1961 to 1965 and was awarded the Leverhulme Award during 1965-66. She set up her studio in Breconshire in 1970 and has resided in West London since 1980. Joseph has been exhibiting her work since 1973, with notable solo exhibitions in 2001, 2002, and 2004. Her art is included in prestigious collections such as The National Art Library and The British Library. Heller, who has released twenty volumes, including Eschaton (2009), has also taught at numerous institutions.
