PLUFF-Moving Images Film Screening at Cinema Pepe, Lido di Venezia

The first film series, PLUFF-Moving Images, will take place on September 5 and 6 at the Cinema Pepe installation, which was developed by the collectives Parasite 2.0 and Agreements to Zinedine-ATZ alongside students from Università Iuav di Venezia and MADE Program-Accademia di Belle Arti di Siracusa. This modular structure, constructed from wooden beams, medicine balls, straps, and anti-corrosion plastic grids, is part of the Esperienza Pepe project at the French Pavilion for the 16th Venice Architecture Biennale. The lineup includes films by Peter Miller and Basir Mahmood on September 5, followed by Juliana Borinski and Jean-Baptiste Lenglet on September 6. Curators Philippe-Alain Michaud, Enrico Camporesi, and Jonathan Pouthier will engage in discussions with the artists post-screening. The MOVIES Master in Moving Images Arts program begins in November at Università Iuav di Venezia, with enrollment closing on September 14.
